But even if you're a stranger, she's the first at the door to greet you. Suzie is playful and enjoys a good lap sit, and she loves to be brushed. She gets along well with other cats, and has made lots of cat and human friends here at the shelter.

A large and mellow "tuxedo," he was placed by PFOA with his brother Ward when just a young kitten. Returned recently (and he is so sweet we can hardly believe our good luck to have him back), he is hoping for a new home where he will be an appreciated and valued member of his family. He adores affection, gets along with other cats, and is really hoping to be your favorite stocking stuffer this Christmas. At just 3 years of age, Monty has a lot of love to give for a lot of years to come.

These two have been inseparable since they arrived at the shelter. They are very affectionate and sweet cats. Adopting both together will give double the pleasure, and half the work, as they will be self-entertaining.

This teen-ager is very close to her sister Connie and they should be adopted together. Bonnie gives the impression of being the visually "darker" of the two.

She has the most beautiful, haunting, aqua-blue eyes that have a sad story to tell. We do know that she was part of a litter rescued as older kittens that were not well socialized. She was adopted with a companion kitten who died, and Sprinkle's owner did not want to keep her when she recently moved. After losing her sibling and her home, Sprinkles has had a hard time adjusting to life at the shelter, but she is now starting to purr and leave the security of her bed to let us interact with her. She will take some time to learn to trust people, but Sprinkles is a kitty who is well worth the effort needed to turn her into a loving friend. She "talks" to the volunteers who regularly visit her, and loves to be stroked and brushed. She would make a wonderful companion in a quiet household. He is so gentle and kind — a special kitty who just wants a loving home in which to live out his life. He's had some rough knocks in his life, but still maintains his wonderful disposition. There is nothing about this big fellow not to love!

Friendly and affectionate, this white and tabby sweetie has been mother to six of the most beautiful kittens, now up for adoption at Safe Haven. Mittens has recently been spayed, has been vaccinated and is ready for her new home. Her sister was adopted almost immediately and we hope the same for this loving youngster. Mittens would be a great fit for any home!

She has recently been spayed after raising three lovely identical tabby shorthair kittens, now at Safe Haven. This lassie would love a home where she will be brushed and treated as the Queen Bee. She thinks she deserves no less!
	Penelope Penelope is a 6 year old beauty. She's a white cat with dilute calico markings on her head and her tail. Penelope is quiet and sweet, and looking for someone to love her forever.
	Trevor Trevor is a sweet and tidy short-haired grey tuxedo kitty. With his distinguished white bib and four white feet, he looks to be elegantly dressed for the ball. However, this 3-year-old fellow has had his share of living on the street, and is very happy to be ensconced in a luxury suite at the shelter, enjoying the good life. Trevor is very friendly and social, and seems to get along well with other cats. Though he has just arrived, this boy is quickly winning admirers for his winning ways!
	Fagin Fagin, 7, is a green-eyed, short-haired black male who can best be described as a "big lug" full of love. He "head butts" and leans into his human and feline friends to show his affection. He likes brushing and belly rubs on occasion, too. Fagin and Thistle are a duo who know how to pull at your heartstrings and who need to be adopted together.
	Thistle Thistle is a sleek, black, polydactyl 7-year-old male. He has magnificent copper-colored eyes and a sweet demeanor that will melt your heart. He enjoys seeking you out for affection. His brother Fagin joins him to make a great team, and they do need to be adopted together.
	Li'l Bear Li'l Bear is an 8-month-old kitten rescued from a sad situation last fall. He has tested positive for FELV — a kitty form of leukemia that can be transmitted to other cats through bite wounds or years of close daily contact. He is doing wonderfully well and is adored in his foster home, but, sadly, cannot continue to live there as they have several other cats and Bear needs the space to run and play like the teenager he is! Bear is sweet and loves interacting with people. He has traveled with his foster family in their motor home and enjoys being on the road. He would do well in any loving home where he is the only cat or with another FELV positive cat. However, he will need to live his life indoors so there will never be any chance of him infecting another kitty. It is quite possible that Bear will have no future health issues and will live a normal life span. Please call if you are the special person looking to adopt this special boy.
	Lindy Lou Lindy Lou is a very sad girl who is missing her beloved owner who just had to give her up due to ill health. This beautiful calico would prefer a quiet home with no other pets and no children. She is learning to trust us and rewards our attention with her deep purr, but at almost 12 years old, she will need a patient, gentle caregiver. 	Archie Archie is a Special Needs kitty, as his kidney test numbers were a bit elevated. A special diet and a serene home atmosphere will help him enjoy life, as he is a young cat. He was abandoned on Ediz Hook and rescued there by a dedicated couple who worry about the homeless animals dumped out there unprotected from the winter storms on the Hook. Once captured, very easily, Archie proved to be non-feral and was so grateful to be rescued. He's a chatty boy, and very friendly, a big lad at over 14 lbs. He gets along well with other cats who are so inclined. If they don't like him, he leaves them alone. He's a cat who is easy to get along with.

She is a social and friendly cat — loving to sit near you and purr her pleasure when you give her love and petting. While "Bevvie" is playful, she particularly enjoys lounging in her favorite bed on her back with her white tummy showing and her feet in the air. Beverly gets along with other well-behaved cats, but would be happy as an only cat, too. She is a shelter favorite, and the lucky adopter who chooses to make Beverly part of their life will find her to be a delightful addition to their home!
	Mango Mango is a young and energetic fellow who needs room to run. He likes people but can get overstimulated easily. Mango has had some poor treatment in the past and needs a patient and understanding person or people to help him trust again. He's fun and playful, and sweet when he feels secure. Mango needs a home with safe outdoor space to explore.

Bailey used tobe a little shy, and tended to run when adopters enter her room, which is why she's still with us. But Bailey has gotten much more sociable. She is definitely ready for a home of her own, to have someone love her every day of the year.
	Louie ADOPTED! Louie is a young male who showed up as a stray at the home of PFOA supporters. Although he was advertised with posters and in the paper, no one stepped forward to claim this absolutely charming fellow. Gorgeous and laid-back, he is a big love of a cat who gets along with other kitties and likes everyone he meets. There aren't enough adjectives to describe just how wonderful this guy is. Louie would fit in with almost anyone willing to provide a soft lap and good chow!
	Isis ADOPTED! Isis is an adorable little champagne-colored, round-faced beauty with big expressive eyes. She is as playful as she is pretty — she loves to bat her dry crunchies and mice around like a soccer player! Isis and her two kittens were abandoned and found by kind folks bicycling near Cat Lake. After contacting PFOA, the couple fostered this pretty trio and placed the two kittens in great homes. Isis came to the shelter just a few weeks ago and has settled right in. Friendly and outgoing, this little beauty would be a great addition to your home!
	Mauii ADOPTED! Mauii is a WONDERFUL large girl around 5 years of age. A pretty, short-haired brown tabby, she loves to rub, purr, knead and eat — maybe not in that order. After the untimely death of her owner, Mauii came to Safe Haven where she never missed a beat making friends and winning hearts from day one! Mauii would be a great lap warmer for the cold winter months and would love to doze in front of your warm fireplace. She would do well in an adult home where someone could shower her with love and affection. Any takers?
	Herman ADOPTED! Herman is a gorgeous, huge shiny black male with bright green eyes. Brought to us in a trap as a supposed feral, he is proving to be as friendly and gregarious as a kitty can be. Abandoned and living on his own through the cold winter, Herman is enjoying his new life as a pampered shelter cat. Tall and regal, he looks to be a cat who should belong to an Egyptian king & he exudes an aura of confidence and quiet dignity. Herman is one special boy!
	Mario ADOPTED! Mario is a neutered male, newly arrived at the shelter. He is a gorgeous, large, shiny black kitty with bright golden eyes and a litle white bow-tie. He was living with an older person who can no longer take care of him, so he has had to move out of his assisted-living apartment. At 11 years old, he has too much life ahead of him for retirement. He is front-declawed — something that happened in another life — so furniture is safe. But it also means that he must live as an indoor kitty, as he cannot climb trees and otherwise defend himself against threats. He is sweet and content, and will be a great companion animal.
	Callie ADOPTED! Callie is a 6-year-old tortie with soft fur and a soft and loving disposition. She has a snowy white bib with white feet and and a little crooked short tail. Callie seems to get along with everyone and can't wait for an opportunity to snuggle in your lap with purrs and kisses. Allergies forced her eviction from her original home, and she can't wait to find a new family to love. Callie is just the all-around perfect cat, so give us a call to meet her!
	Bennie ADOPTED! Bennie is a beautiful dark orange male tabby who is only 9 months old. Sweet and loving, he has just been neutered and is adjusting to his new life at the shelter. With his cute pink nose and lovely green eyes, Benny is a gentle stunner who will make a wonderful companion for his new person.
	Daisy ADOPTED! Daisy is a young tortie mother whose kitten died. She is now spayed and is recovering from life's traumas here at Safehaven. She is still quite able to purr and likes people very much, but bristles when she sees other cats and dogs. She's a candidate for an only-cat home, preferably one without small children. She does have lots of love to share.

	Rose ADOPTED! Rose is a small tabby with an unusual combination of orange and brown stripes. Sweet and social, she is still in foster care; her 5 kittens have been weaned and are now at Safe Haven awaiting their own forever homes. If Rose is the perfect match for your family and you are interesting in adopting her, she is now available for adoption. Perhaps you might even want to consider this pretty girl and a kitten, as well? A mom and baby is an exceptionally sweet pair to add a double dose of joy to your home!
	Mr. Gray ADOPTED! Mr. Gray is about 2 or 3 years old, and as friendly and sociable as they come. He is on the large side of medium. He is fine with small dogs, but tends to bully other cats, so we're suggesting he be an only cat. Mr Gray has beautiful big green eyes and a white muzzle, feet and belly. He's an intelligent fellow who likes to sit beside you, rather than on your lap, and he purrs readily and loves to snuggle. He's young enough that he also loves to play.
	Psy ADOPTED! Psy is a gorgeous, long-haired, 4-year-old male kitty who came to us after his owner became ill and was unable to care for him. Declawed on all four paws, Psy must be an indoor-only cat, but since he loves attention and playing so much, that is just fine with him. After losing three homes through no fault of his own, we want to see this boy settled in a safe, loving home where he will never have to move again. 	Norman ADOPTED! Norman is a striking silver tabby who was found as a stray in a barn west of Port Angeles. After suffering an attack by unknown predators, the caring property owners asked for our help finding Norman a safer environment in which to live. Only a year or so old, Norm is a big, sweet guy who is still learning to trust folks after his ordeal, but loves petting and purrs easily. He is going to make some lucky family a wonderful friend!
	La Nina ADOPTED! La Nina is an adorable, fluffy 1-year-old with extra toes. She was returned to PFOA when her family had to move into an apartment and could not take her with them. While initially worried and missing her kitty sister and human family, she has quickly become a sweet and loving little girl who wants pets and affection. She is a gentle and kind kitty who will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family.
	July ADOPTED! July is a beautiful tortie found in Carrie Blake Park on the Fourth of July. Dehydrated and weak, she was lying under a tree and rescued by Good Samaritans who brought her to Safe Haven. She is now back in good form and hoping for a new home in which to spend the rest of her summer vacation and life — we surely wish she could tell us how she ended up in such a predicament! Perhaps fireworks frightened this colorful girl and sent her on a trip that could have been a disaster, but as the result of lots of caring folks pitching in on a busy holiday weekend, this story will have a happy ending. 	Peggy ADOPTED! Peggy is a darling little tidy brown tabby with white trim. In spite of being dumped out of a car in a big box-store parking lot, she is sweet and friendly with folks and other cats, but doesn't want to share her world with dogs! If you can provide the stable and loving home this wonderful girl needs, please call about this fun-loving teen-ager!
	Suzy ADOPTED! Suzy is "just a tabby cat" — but this tabby has an orange blaze on her forehead and elsewhere, which make her special. She is an older cat, possibly around 13, and can adapt to many things, including being caged for a brief (we hope) period. She is a lovely, sweet, mature gentle kitty who now has "lost" four homes. She doesn't ask for much — a little food (please no grain as she could be allergic), some water, a kind word, some soft bedding, a clean literbox, and she always smiles. Do you have a place to share with Suzy? In return, she will be a loving companion.
	Polar ADOPTED! Polar is a 2-year-old handsome, gentle white boy who came to us as a result of an owner who passed away, and the subsequent loss of his home. He has medium fur and a charming short tail with a handle at the end. His little nose shows some scars from his life on his own and his green eyes show his sadness at the loss of his home and family. But, in spite of his difficult past, he is loving and friendly and wants to be petted and shows his appreciation with lots of purrs.
	Grady ADOPTED! Grady is one of those cats who reaches for you through the bars of his quarantine cage hoping for someone to open the door and give him the petting and hugging he so desires. He loves to be picked up, and just can't get enough attention! Grady is an unusual "ticked tabby" whose soft fur resembles an Abyssinian. He has a clipped ear as a result of being neutered through a feral cat program in the past, but he is as far from feral as a cat could possibly be.
	Monique ADOPTED! Monique gave birth to a litter of kittens in the woods. Her babies have found homes, and now it's her turn. She's a beautiful all-grey kitty with bright green eyes, and she's on the small side of medium. She is as gentle as can be. Monique does like to talk. She's quite nervous about being in a quarantine cage, and is slowly learning to trust.
	Grover ADOPTED! Poor Grover — after being abandoned, he was trapped in a shed and left alone in a cage for several weeks. Only a couple of years old, he is an absolutely beautiful long-haired boy with blue eyes and a kind and gentle personality. Grover is learning what it means to be treated with kindness and respect, and is making great progress learning to trust humans again. He likes to be petted and is enjoying the warmth, safety,and good food he has found here at the shelter. We can't wait to see this pretty boy settled into a loving home where his beauty, both inside and out, will be appreciated!
	Phantom ADOPTED! Phantom is a beautiful big grey tabby trimmed with white. He loves dogs, kids other cats and is just an overall amazingly mellow fellow. He came to us after being rescued as a stray by a Coast Guard family who subsequently had to move and were unable to take him. He is about as nice a cat as you could ever hope to meet!
	Kiara ADOPTED! Kiara is an absolutely drop-dead gorgeous long-haired black tabby. With her unusual silver and black markings, she is an unusually beautiful and unusually outgoing cat. Kiara never meets a stranger, she is so friendly, and would love to greet all your guests and impress them with her winning personality. This 3-year-old diva would prefer a home with no children or other pets so you can give her the attention she feels she deserves as such a beauty queen!
	Nimbus ADOPTED! Nimbus is a sweet young tabby cat who was abandoned when his guardians moved and left him behind, with a bag of food... and sibling Cirrus ... and nothing else. The two frightened cats were rescued and spayed/neutered and are looking for a loving home, together or separately. Nimbus is a tabby longhair who is relaxing now that survival is assured. He's a gentle sweetheart.
	Emily ADOPTED! Emily is a young, petite, short-haired beauty who arrived at PFOA with her sister, Rose, after the two showed up as strays in a Port Angeles neighborhood. Friendly and affectionate, she has just been spayed, vaccinated and is now ready for her new home. While we had hoped to keep Emily and her sister together, Rose proved to be in the last stages of pregnancy and is awaiting the birth of her kittens in a foster home. An easygoing and easy-keeper kitty, Emily would be a great fit for any home!
	Sandy ADOPTED! Sandy is a 5 year-old spayed female with lovely green eyes. She couldn't move with her person and is looking for her new home. Sandy is talkative, playful and very loving.
	Rollo ADOPTED! Rollo is a big orange tabby love, who is quite confused to find himself in a shelter. He's a lean 17 pound cat who has lived with other cats, birds and a Doberman. Rollo is 12 years old. He is friendly and gentle, and a great lap cat who loves to be held. He likes to sleep on the bed, to make sure your feet stay warm. Rollo is looking for an indoor-only home.
	Tamara ADOPTED! Tamara, 4, is a sweet kitty, quiet and gentle, who is great friend to the volunteers who take the time to get to know her. She would love a quiet home where someone can let her be the affectionate and loving kitty she is.
	Ms. Puss ADOPTED! Ms. Puss Puss came to us after being left behind by folks who put poor Puss, her bed, food, and toys under a picnic table and drove away. The neighbors next door took her in, but allergies forced them to seek placement for her with PFOA. She is an adorable, short-haired tabby cat with large, expressive round eyes. This 5-year-old girl is de-clawed, but unlike many cats who have lost their nails, she is as sweet and loving as a cat could be. Ms. Puss suffered a broken jaw at some point that gives her a rakish look that adds to her charm — but doesn't affect her health. She is a delightful girl who will cuddle and snuggle her way into your heart!
	Smokey ADOPTED! Smokey is a gorgeous Maine Coon type of longhair tabby, and is perhaps ten months old. He may grow up to be a big boy. His mane is full and he loves to sit in your lap and get brushing assistance. He and his companion cat Junior were abandoned when their family moved.
	Belinda ADOPTED! Belinda, a gorgeous tortoiseshell, is 3 years old now. She is more shy than her brother, Gillespie. She is quite frightened of vacuum cleaners and will hide when they come out. Their family developed allergies.
	Leo ADOPTED! Leo is a large four year old neutered male who enjoys his meals. He is very polite and loving, and gives kisses. He is brother to PK and Zepplin, below. They have been together since birth, but are all independent souls, who just happen to enjoy each others' company.
	Zepplin ADOPTED! Zepplin is a 4-year-old orange and white neutered male. He likes attention when he wants it and on his terms. He can be very loving and snuggly when those moments occur. He likes to go outside in his safeyard, and absolutely adores catnip, especially when it is planted in "his" yard. The former owners of these three cats tried very hard to place them before they had to move, but were unsuccessful. The cats show that they have been cherished, and can be adopted singly or together.
	PK ADOPTED! Four-year-old PK, also known as Princess Kitty, is gentle-natured and prefers to stay indoors. She is not as adventurous as her brothers Leo and Zepplin (above and below). She's been spayed and is quite content to be a favorite lap cat.
	Elvis ADOPTED! Elvis is a hoot! This young, neutered male rolls over on his back, rubs against your leg, flips his toys in the air and is just one of the most interactive and entertaining cats you could ever wish for. To go along with his winning ways, he is a gorgeous boy with his long grey fur and expressive green eyes. Elvis does like to play with some selective kitty buddies, but would do best as an only cat with a family who can really appreciate his unique character and charm.
	Junior ADOPTED! Junior is a handsome shorthair tabby boy about a year and a half old. He and his companion cat Smokey were left behind when their family moved. Junior is a little shy of his new circumstances and hides in his cardboard house. But he readily comes out when coaxed and loves to be held and petted. And then he purrs.
	River ADOPTED! River is a gray shorthair — resemling a Russian Blue — though we have no way of knowing her origins. She is a stray from the West End and was a hungry girl. She was very willing to purr softly for the volunteers, almost as though she knows better things are waiting for her.
	Tommy ADOPTED! Tommy is a stray, a neutered male who is just as friendly as can be. He purrs readily when approached and is doing well in the warmth of his temporary home. He has been veterinarian checked now, and received his shots.
	Cirrus ADOPTED! Cirrus is a sweet young tabby cat who was abandoned when her guardians moved and left her behind, with a bag of food... and sibling Nimbus... and nothing else. The two frightened cats were rescued and spayed/neutered and are looking for a loving home, together or separately. Cirrus is showing the inherent sweetness that this young tabby has. She's a purring love of a gray tabby cat with white bib and boots.
	Paisley ADOPTED! Paisley is about 2 years old now. She's a beautiful brown tabby with a medium-length coat. She has been returned to PFOA because she was aggressive towards the other resident feline in the household. We think she is telling us she would like to be an Only Cat. She's loving and kind and very pleasant when not arguing to be the Top Cat.
	Gillespie ADOPTED! Gillespie is a nice, neutered male whose family developed allergies to him and Belinda. Gillespie and Belinda are siblings who can be separated, but would not mind remaining in a home together.
	Sasha ADOPTED! Sasha is a fluffy, longhaired, gray tabby cat who has been outdoors for at least two years. She was looked after by some kind people. She gave us some of the prettiest kittens we saw all summer — little fluffy images of their mother who were all quickly adopted to their forever homes. Now it is Sasha's turn to get a family that will love her and help her to come indoors. Be warned though, Sasha hates dogs and will attack them. No doubt this is a result of living outside so long.
	Tigger ADOPTED! Tigger is a substantial 2-year-old youngster. He's an orange tiger, with white bib and paws. He's a purring love of a kitty, who comes out of his little house when you stop by his temporary cage and talk to him. He begs to be loved, and does not understand why he came back to the shelter.
	Jasper ADOPTED! Jasper is a 4-year-old Siamese-tabby mix with bright blue eyes. He's extremely sweet and affectionate, in addition to being one of the most physically attractive cats we have. Jasper is also quite sensitive and a stressful environment upsets him easily, so he's looking for a quiet, loving home. Jasper has good cat friends here at the shelter and should get along well with other friendly cats. However, stressful situations are not good for his behavior, so we are hoping for a quiet, only-cat home for Jasper.
	Katie Mae ADOPTED! Katie Mae is a year-old, spayed, Ragdoll mix, who likes to snuggle and cuddle. She was found checking out houses on a rural road, looking for a warm bed, and very hungry. Indoors-only now, she's had enough of the outdoor life! Her person will need to brush her to keep her coat at its best.
	Phoebe ADOPTED! Phoebe is a gorgeous, middle-aged girl we adopted out as a kitten along with her companion cat, Gidget, above. When her owners could no longer keep her, she came back to us. She is one of the friendliest and most affectionate cats we have ever had. She loves to crawl in your lap and put her paws on your chest and purr to show you her contentment and pleasure in your presence. She loves her buddy, Gidget, and we hope to adopt these lifelong friends together. 	Gidget ADOPTED! Gidget came to us from the same home as Phoebe, below. She is also very friendly and loving, but not quite as exuberant in her attentions as Phoebe. She is a large Calico who is friendly to other cats and gets along with and seeks attention from all visitors. Gidget should be brushed regularly to keep her coat in top shape. 	Antonio ADOPTED! Antonio is about 7 months old — a young male, all-black teenager with striking copper-colored eyes. Right now his fur seems to be medium-length, but that may change as he grows and becomes a longhair. He's a purring love of a kitty.
	Guido ADOPTED! Guido came in with Antonio, above, and is a slightly more shy, gray tiger male. He's neutered and has had his shots. He's a bit older, about a year now. They are best friends but can be adopted separately.
	Opal ADOPTED! Featured in our Winter Pet Tidings newsletter, Opal is a slender tortoiseshell beauty. Her many-colored coat contrasts with her dark face and her golden eyes. She's been spayed — after the adventure of raising her five babies she'll never have to do that again. She's young enough to enjoy lots of playtime.
	'Stache ADOPTED! 'Stache is, of course, short for moustache. 'Stache was found as a stray in an area where there are not many houses, and was rescued by some friendly people who could not keep him forever. 'Stache was shy at first, but warmed up, literally, once he got inside and out of the weather. He's friendly and a purring lap cat.
	Kilo ADOPTED! Kilo is almost 3 years old, and both handsome and friendly. He has lived with small children, big dogs and other cats, but wouldn't mind a quieter house. Kilo is a large cat, and his long hair makes him look even bigger, but he's light in weight. Kilo is a gentle fellow looking for a loving home.
	Andy ADOPTED! Andy is a very friendly orange male cat looking for an indoor-outdoor home. He's a talkative tabby with big feet and a big fluffy tail, who gets along with everyone, human or feline. Andy is a medium large boy at a lean 13 pounds.
	Aspen ADOPTED! Aspen is a pretty little lynx point Siamese. She's a very sweet girl with extra soft fur and lovely blue eyes. She loves all the affection you have to offer, but doesn't demand it. Aspen is a friendly and companionable cat, who is as beautiful as they come.
	Meghan ADOPTED! Meghan is about 6 months old and was found as a stray. She's a very sweet, and beautiful, tuxedo girl with silky soft fur. She purrs readily, and prances her invitation to come over and stroke her. Meghan is a friendly girl who is an accomplished hunter, and she likes to be held.
	Emilee ADOPTED! Emilee is a young mom who just finished raising six kittens and is ready to a life all on her own now. Emilee has quite a unique and beautiful coat, with a darkish grey on top and white underneath. The undercoat shows through to give her almost a torti appearance, all in grey and white. Emilee is a sweet girl who will make a fine companion.
	Miss Kitty ADOPTED! Miss Kitty is a year-and-a-half old tabby who has touches of orange calico in her coat. She's a bit roly-poly right now but should slim up with a loving home and caring family. She loved her Schipperke dog companion, and misses him a bit. This young lady showed up at the shelter confused and unhappy, but mellowed out almost immediately to be the loving purrsonality we now see.
	Buster ADOPTED! Buster is a sweet boy whose family can no longer keep him. He's a large neutered male — close to 14 lbs. He loves to give kitty-kisses and purrs whenever someone pays atttention to him.
	Sebastian ADOPTED! Sebastian is about a year and a half old. He's a cross between a Siamese and a tabby, with pale blue eyes. His head is slightly sharp, somewhere between a classical Siamese and an apple-headed. He is very loving- towards people and towards food! Sebastian has lived with children. He is on the large side of medium, at 14 and a half pounds.
	Nala ADOPTED! Nala came in with her partner Molly when their family lost their home. Nala is a light brown classic tabby, about 2 years old. She is sweet and a bit shy here at the shelter, but she can hold her own when Molly gets feisty. These pretty girls would love to find a home together.
	Molly ADOPTED! Molly came in with her housemate Nala when their family lost their home. Molly is outgoing and lively, and very friendly. She is a light brown mackerel tabby, and about a year and a half old. Molly is a lovely girl who very much wants to find a home with Nala.
	Leda ADOPTED! Leda is a quiet 3-year-old looking for a quiet home. She has very soft fur and purrs readily. Leda is quite sweet and also quite playful. She's on the small side of medium at 8 pounds.
	Randy ADOPTED! Randy came to the shelter after being trapped as a stray. He is a gentle cat who is very forgiving and accepting, and very appreciative of attention and affection. His fur is quite soft, and medium length. Randy will make a good family cat as he's trusting and sweet, and he'd also fit very well in an all-adult home.
	Billie Bailey ADOPTED! Billie Bailey is an adult spayed female with the brindled coat of a tortie mixed with some tabby striping. Billie is a talker and a lap cat, and she purrs readily. Her fur is extremely soft and her eyes are bright green. Billie is front declawed and so a bit unsure about life at the shelter, but she is a sweet girl when she sees she can trust you. She doesn't seem to like other cats, but has done fine with a quiet dog.
	Cartman ADOPTED! Cartman is a declawed, neutered male cat who was found as a stray. His person had to leave the area for health reasons and can't take his kitties with him. Cartman is a friendly fellow who gets along with other cats. Since he is declawed he would do best in an indoor only home, or one with a very safe outdoor area.
	Schatzi ADOPTED! Schatzi is a dark grey and white girl who has had a lot of hard luck. She is quiet and shy. Schatzi is a Manx with a very pink nose, and she's about 8 years old. She's a sweet and gentle girl who will do well in a quiet indoor home. Schatzi is just waiting for some sweet person to give her the love she's missing, and she has a lot of love to give in return.
	Pumpkin ADOPTED! Pumpkin is a handsome 3-year-old orange tabby boy. He came in with his housemate Tiger when their person could no longer handle the extreme allergies she was suffering. Both boys have been well cared for, and well loved. Pumpkin is large cat with a tiny squeaky voice. He is fun and playful and loves attention. Both beautiful orange kitties are affectionate lap cats.
	Tiger ADOPTED! Tiger is a 3 year old long haired orange kitty. He is very sweet and loving, and more than a little confused to be living in a quarantine cage. His former person had severe allergies to him and his fellow cat Pumpkin. Both kitties have obviously been well loved and cared for. Both big boys are now looking for a great new home.
	Maple ADOPTED! Maple is a young female, newly spayed, She is very sweet, petite and a little shy right now. Maple loves affection, play and treats. She has been on her own for a few months. Her family moved and left her behind, and she got tossed outside after living as an indoor-only cat. She has lived with other cats and seems to adapt well to all that live is throwing at her.
	Mr. Bigs ADOPTED! Mr. Bigs is a remarkable-looking cat. He's a lynx point Siamese. or Siamese/tabby mix. His lip got rearranged in a car accident. And he has big feet with extra toes. Mr Bigs is a sweet and friendly fellow who needs a new home following a family move that didn't include him. He has just tested positive for FIV, which won't necessarily affect his life if he is kept indoors only, isolated from any non-FIV cats, and maintained healthy with regular vet care. Mr. Bigs has lived with another cat.
	Titus ADOPTED! Titus was rescued as a stray, but he has obviously shared most of his life with people. He's a handsome orange tabby fellow with very soft fur. Titus is very friendly. 	Maya ADOPTED! Maya is a very sweet girl with extremely silky fur. She kneads the air as soon as she sees someone coming her way, more than ready to come out and meet you. She seems to accept the other cats in the room, and just loves people and treats and affection. Maya was a neighborhood stray who is ready for a home of her own, and will more than pay her way with the love she has to offer.
	David ADOPTED! David was found as a stray, but he has obviously had a caring home in the past. He is a very sweet boy, with the short ears and round face and stocky body of a British Shorthair. David has bright green eyes and very soft grey and white fur. He is good with kids but prefers not to be around dogs. David is loving and affectionate, and a real cutie. He loves a good lap sit.
	Isabella ADOPTED! Isabella is a stunning young mom who has just been spayed. She has striking large eyes and an interesting coat- overall medium haired, but fluffy; tan and grey tabby with white. Isabella is very loving and affectionate and looking for a home all her own now that she's raised her kittens.
	Devendra ADOPTED! Devendra is a small girl with long hair that easily doubles her size. She's about a year old. Devendra is a sweetheart with a soft purr, and her big feet love to knead the air as you stroke her. She loves to be brushed. Devendra gets along well with other cats.
	Matilda ADOPTED! Matilda is a six-year-old dark tabby with white paws, belly and bib, and bright green eyes. Her person couldn't keep her due to allergies, but she's clearly used to love and good care. Matilda is very friendly and affectionate, loves to purr, and talks softly. She will make some lucky person an excellent companion.
	Missy ADOPTED! Missy is about 10 years old. She is a long-haired oriental cat, possibly a Himalayan but with a full-length muzzle. She is used to a quiet life with a single elderly owner, and has not lived with other animals. Missy is a beautiful girl with blue eyes, lush long fur and a very kinked tail. She's a large cat, and at almost 17 pounds she could stand to lose 2 or 3 pounds. She has been to the vet and checked out with perfect teeth and no problems except for a little extra weight. Missy is very sweet and talks with a soft meow, but she has a good purr. She would love to find a home soon where she can be both cared for and adored.
	Jose ADOPTED! Jose is 9 months old, and, through no fault of his own, has gone through 3 different homes already. He's a gorgeous fellow- lilac point Siamese mixed with tabby, with medium hair and a big fluffy tail, and bright blue eyes. He will be a big boy when he's finished growing. Jose loves people and adores snuggles. He is a talkative kitty who wants everyone to know he doesn't belong in a shelter but in a permanent loving home as soon as possible. Jose is extremely intelligent and can open doors with his big paws. He is also extremely active, and a lot of fun.
	Palmer ADOPTED! Palmer is under a year old, and a beautiful boy. He's a cross between a Siamese, with the blue eyes, and an orange tabby, with striping in his color points. His family moved and left him behind and, after too many months on his own, he's happy to be getting regular meals and a soft bed. Palmer has a few scrapes to heal up, a couple of pounds to put on and some whiskers to regrow still, but he's very ready for life with a couch and a dinner bowl. Palmer is friendly and appreciative of any attention and food you offer him.
	Loretta ADOPTED! Loretta is a 3-year-old spayed female with a gorgeous medium length dilute calico coat, with lots of white. She's a very friendly girl who has lived with another cat. Her family could not take her when they moved, and now Loretta is looking for a home with someone who will never move away from her.
	Lady Godiva ADOPTED! Lady Godiva (named for the chocolate) gave us four kittens and now is looking for a home of her own. She's a pretty little seal point Siamese who is about a year old. She has deep blue eyes and a thick soft coat. Lady Godiva is on the small side of medium. She is a touch shy, but will push her head into your hand, and allow you to pick her up. We expect her to become less shy by the day with our volunteers socializing her.
	Chloe ADOPTED! Chloe is a pale grey tabby with four white paws and a white bib, very soft fur, a krinkled ear, and intense brown-gold eyes. She is a sweet 8-year-old girl who likes people but can be a bit shy with some. When she decides she likes you, though, she really likes you. Chloe is a calm older adult cat who loves attention and affection.
	Blackie One ADOPTED! Blackie's person had to give her up for health reasons, and Blackie doesn't know what happened. She's shocked to find herself in a quarantine cage after 8 years of shared love and affection. Blackie is looking for a quiet home where she can give you all her love.
	Beethoven ADOPTED! Beethoven is a seal point Birman who is 6 years old. His long coat makes him look quite large, but he weighs under 13 pounds. He likes to talk, softly, and has a soft purr. Beethoven has been front declawed, but unlike many declawed cats he is not defensive or hissy in new situations. He has white toes and feet, with white whiskers. Beethoven is extremely social, sweet and loving, and he lives for snuggling, brushing and affection. He is an exceptionally easy-going cat and should fit into most loving households.
	Black Dahlia ADOPTED! Black Dahlia is a medium-haired black cat with red-brown highlights on her body. Dahlia is very sweet and loving with people, but would prefer to be an only cat. She's about 2 to 3 years old, spayed, and completely healthy. Dahlia is both bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, with a shortened tail. Her fur is very soft, and she welcomes your touch. 	Ash ADOPTED! Ash came in with her sister Cinder, and they must be adopted together. Both are 9 months old, good with dogs and teenagers, talkative with a pleasing chirping voice and very agreeable to being handled. You can play with their feet and they don't get at all upset. Ash and Cinder are both lap cats, and sleep wrapped around each other. Ash has a soft purr, black whiskers, a narrow face and a stub tail, and a single coat. Her coat is a very blue shade of grey, and her eyes are deep gold. Her eyes may turn green as she matures.
	Cinder ADOPTED! Cinder came in with her sister Ash, and they must be adopted together. Both are 9 months old, good with dogs and teenagers, talkative with a pleasing chirping voice and very agreeable to being handled. You can play with their feet and they don't get at all upset. Cinder and Ash are both lap cats, and sleep wrapped around each other. Cinder has a bushy tail and a wider face than Ash, and she is the shyer sister. She follows Ash's lead. 	Olive ADOPTED! Olive was abandoned when her people moved out, and has been living rough with a little help from the neighbors. She's about 7 years old, solid black with bright green eyes, and her fur is exceptionally soft. Olive is extremely sweet, friendly, and mellow, with a quiet purr. She loves to knead gently to show her pleasure. She's quite healthy at just under 9 pounds, and looking for a home where she can love and be loved.
	Pansy ADOPTED! Pansy is short-haired with a remarkable coat that is spotted grey tabby mixed with the orange spots of a dilute calico. She has four white paws and blue-green eyes. Pansy is a little shy at first, but will happily purr on your lap as long as you care to stroke her or brush her. She was found with her housemate or sister Primrose abandoned in a house. Pansy is a very sweet girl who would probably appreciate a quiet home. She has lived with other cats.
	Willow ADOPTED! Willow is a sweet grey and white kitty who has been front declawed. Her wrinkled left ear was likely caused by an ear mite infestation in the past, but she's completely healthy now. She has lived with a dog and another cat. Willow adores attention and affection, and is looking for a loving person or family to make her own. She has an interesting pattern of grey over white on her body, legs and face, with a grey and pink nose and bright green eyes.
	Lulu ADOPTED! Lulu is a 2-year-old beauty with big gold eyes, looking for a person or family to give all her love to. She came in with her daughter Willie Lou after being found in an apartment with a bag of food when her owner moved out. Lulu is sweet and very friendly, and her fur is exceptionally soft. 	Willie Lou ADOPTED! Willie Lou is a 1-year-old medium haired black kitty, who is very sweet. Her medium hair is extremely soft and strokable- and she loves to be stroked. She came in with her mother Lulu after their owner moved out and left them behind in an apartment with a bag of cat food. These pretty girls are tightly bonded and must be adopted together. 	Spot ADOPTED! Spot showed up at the Sequim Visitor's Center and was taken in by some loving people who couldn't keep him. He's a very nice adult neutered male, a brown and white tabby with green eyes. He's a sweet, energetic and playful fellow looking for the right home for the love he has to give.
	Kit Carson ADOPTED! Kit Carson is a 1-year-old mostly white cat with some grey tabby markings, and gold eyes. He is a sweet fellow who loves to play. Kit is easy-going, social and fun, and he gets along well with children.
	Timber ADOPTED! Timber is a brown tabby boy with a very cute face and a personality to match. He's about 5 years old, and was found as a stray. His main goal in life right now is to attract humans to love him, and he's quite talented at that. Timber is quiet, friendly, affectionate, and purrs even before you get to him, just knowing he's next for affection.
	Bella ADOPTED! Bella is almost 3 years old, with big green eyes and long whiskers. She is a fun kitty who is extremely affectionate. She will crawl in any lap handy and purr up a storm. Bella will also play long and hard with any toy offered, and she loves to jump on your shoulders for a ride. She is very fond of children. Bella is a sweet girl who is just looking for a person or family to give her as much love as she gives them.
	Mink ADOPTED! Mink is a 10-month old seal point Siamese neutered male. He has soft fur and bright blue eyes. He was taken in as a kitten and bottle fed, and lived quite happily with his human male owner. The cat Cartman joined the household 6 weeks ago, so Mink does get along with other cats. Unfortunately, their person has to move south for health reasons and can't take the cats with him. Mink has spent a lot of time outdoors in a safe area, and would probably like to remain an indoor-outdoor kitty.
	Kobe ADOPTED! Kobe is a very sweet 1-year-old boy who is looking for a new home due to allergies in the family. He loves kids, babies and dogs, and he's addicted to feather toys. Kobe is an orange and white tabby with very short fur and big white whiskers. He likes to talk, and behaves more like a dog than a cat.
